Elixir de Beauté ltd was founded in 1988 by Colette Haydon, a qualified doctor of pharmacy and dermo-cosmetology (University of Lyon, France). During her training and early career she gained broad experience with the Institut Merieux, L'Oreal/Lâncome and Laboratoires C. Le Moult/Phyta.

After moving to the UK she worked for both Biocosmetics and The Wellcome Foundation. Dr Colette Haydon is an acknowledged specialist in skin and cosmetic technology. She is a frequent contributor to industry publications and a Member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists.

Agata Nowaczynska, a qualified cosmetic chemist, is in day to day charge of the laboratory, where she is supported by two laboratory technicians.
